Delivery platform payouts, reconciled in QuickBooks
Delivery platforms pay restaurants net of commission, processing, marketing and error charges. Point-of-sale systems record the full sale, so the platform's clearing account in QuickBooks never zeroes and the real cost of delivery stays hidden.
This tool reads a platform's payout report (DoorDash today) and prepares one journal entry per payout that books each deduction to the restaurant's own accounts and brings the clearing account back to zero. Every entry is reviewed first; nothing is posted to QuickBooks until Damia Labs approves that entry.
How it runs
- Damia Labs runs the app on a computer it controls; it is not a hosted service.
- It connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit's sign-in, with access an admin of the QuickBooks company can revoke at any time.
- This website only describes the service and hands Intuit's sign-in back to the app.
